				This poster is silkscreened black and red, produced by the ECC in 1984, Johannesburg.  This poster was produced to protest the presence of troops in the townships. The text reads: "TROOPS OUT OF THE TOWNSHIPS : NO APARTHEID WAR". This poster was digitised by Specialised Archival Solutions in 2009. Reproduced in "Images of Defiance: South African Resistance posters in the 1980s" on page 135 (number 238) of the 1991 SAHA / Ravan Press edition and the 2004 SAHA / STE Publishers edition. It has also been included in the SAHA virtual exhibition - 'The Future is Ours: Commemorating Youth in the Struggle'.
