Leadership has become the most vexing question of our times. The crises in Zimbabwe demands the attention of contemporary public debate - what role should South Africa play and what is our collective responsibility?

This is the fourth lecture in a new series initiated by Dr Xolela Mangcu, Executive Chairman of the Platform for Public Deliberation and Visiting Fellow of The Constitution of Public Intellectual Life Research Project at Wits University that explores issues of leadership in Africa.
