How the item search works

The results list for the item search includes the title of each relevant item within SAHA collections, as well as details about the item's location within the collection item - that is, the folders and sub-folders within which the item is stored - in order to retain the 'context' of that particular item.

If your keyword does not appear in the title on the results list, the item is still likely to be relevant as the keyword appears in the description or subject terms related to that item.

The results list for the item search is organized by call number, rather than relevance so that all items from the same SAHA collection are listed together, in the order in which they appear in the collection. The results are ordered in this way to make it easier to work with the physical collections.
