Invitation: SAHA workshop for history educators

SAHA Educators Workshop 4 of 2015We start the third term of the school year with workshops 5, 6, 7 and 8 in our 2015 workshop series and we call on all history teachers and student teachers to attend.The workshops are hosted at the SAHA offices at Constitution Hill on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. Because the workshops are FREE, it is important to RSVP in order to book your space.

Term 3 schedule

  • Workshop 5: TRANSITION TO DEMOCRACY – Saturday 25/07/2015
  • Workshop 6: TEACHING THE TRC – Saturday 15/08/2015
  • Workshop 7: TEACHING RACE - Saturday 05/09/2015
  • Workshop 8: THE LEGACIES OF THE LAND ACT - Saturday 19/09/2015

    These workshops focus on using primary sources to teach learners about apartheid history. Teachers receive educators' guides developed by SAHA and they get training on how to use them in the classroom.
