Discount on print publications during Heritage Month

During Heritage Month, SAHA is offering a discount of 10% off print publications for educators and libraries wanting to order ten or more copies. These educational publications are an ideal way for educators to engage with their students and explore various aspects of South African history and heritage, particularly during Heritage Month.

Publications for sale include:

SAHA in the Classroom: a series of booklets on using primary sources to teach South African History 1976 - 1994

This series of booklets was developed for Grade 12 learners and teachers to support the practical implementation of a source-based study of South African history from 1976 - 1994.

SAHA Exhibitions in the Classroom: Guides for Educators - a series of guides based on exhibition kits

These guides are based on a series of SAHA exhibition kits available for loan to heritage, educational and community organisations interested in hosting commemorative events and celebrations. 

Meeting History Face-to-Face: a guide to oral history

With input from participating students and teachers, the book and accompanying DVD uses this project as a mechanism to introduce oral history methodologies and assist secondary school students and teachers to prepare for the Nkosi Albert Luthuli annual oral history competition.

These publications are published exclusively by SAHA and are not available elsewhere. All funds raised from the sale of SAHA’s publications contribute to our training programmes, workshops and reprinting of publications.
