This poster is silkscreened black, produced by the Gardens Media Group at Community Arts Project (CAP), Cape Town. This poster is the first of a set of five posters celebrating May Day which was created by various artists, such as Justin Wells, Billy Mandandini, and others. The text reads “IN THE WORLD: MAYDAY IS OURS!” Digitised by Specialised Archival Solutions in 2009. Reproduced in "Images of Defiance: South African Resistance posters in the 1980s" on page 68 (number 121) of the 1991 SAHA / Ravan Press edition and the 2004 SAHA / STE Publishers edition.
